In a boost for Apprenticeships Construction EPA Company has received notification from the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) approving us to deliver End Point Assessments for Plasterer and Interior Systems Installer.

End Point Assessment (EPA) is the final assessment for an apprentice to ensure that they can do the job they have been training for where they will be graded on their work.

Dave Hall, Training Partnerships Director at British Gypsum  said

“This is great news to have an organisation which is now approved to deliver End Point Assessments in Interior Systems. The ethos Sam Riley and the Construction EPA company team have in delivering quality assessments and supporting apprentices through the End Point Assessment process will provide peace of mind for employers who need to identify EPA providers for their apprentices.”

EPA is separate to any qualifications or other assessment that the apprentice may undertake during the on programme stage of the apprenticeship with George Swann FIS Skills and Training Lead adding

“This is definitely a positive step for the Finishes and Interiors Sector.  Employers can now recruit individuals as potential apprentices in the knowledge that training provision and End Point Assessment is available.  Samuel and his team are commended for the determination and work undertaken in getting to this stage.  As the foundation organisation to this company is the FIS Approved Training Organisation North West Training Academy, we have no hesitation in recommending the services provided by the Construction EPA Company”.

Samuel Riley, CEO at Construction EPA Company added:

“This is a great addition to our suite of EPA standards. As an ex plasterer / installer myself, it’s a sector I am very passionate about. EPA is the right move for Construction Apprenticeships on the whole as it will improve standards. Our team are committed to providing a market leading EPA service and raising standards within the industry”

The full list of Apprenticeship standards the Construction EPA Company are approved to assess is: Plasterer, Interior Systems Installer, Bricklayer, Property Maintenance Operative, Painter & Decorator, Wall & Floor Tiler, Groundworker, Carpentry & Joinery Level 2 & 3.
